DNA PARENTAGE TEST
DNA Paternity Tests are based on highly accurate analyses of genetic profiles of a mother, a child and an alleged father. Deoxyribonucleic Acid ("DNA"), the unique genetic blueprint within each nucleated cell in the body, determines a person's genetic pattern and individual characteristics. At conception, a child inherits one-half of his/her genetic pattern from the mother and one-half from the father. If the mother-child's patterns are known, the child's father can be determined with virtual certainty.

THE DNA TEST
DNA Parentage Test is the most powerful, reliable method of proving or disproving parentage. It conclusively answers difficult questions and resolves disputes regarding a person's parent/sibling. It also helps streamline court proceedings and facilitates pre-trial settlements.

PRIVATE PATERNITY TEST
The Private Paternity Test is a simple, easy and confidential method to determine paternity. This self-administered procedure may be accomplished by testing only the alleged father and the child. There is no need for the mother to participate in the test. The collection process is an easy, painless procedure. Individual sterile oral swab, similar to a Q-Tip, is rubbed inside the cheek of the child and the alleged father, thereby collecting samples for analysis. Each person's swabs are then placed into individual corresponding envelopes and sent to our lab for analysis. PRIVATE PATERNITY TESTS ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW IN THE STATE OF NEW YORK

There are no age restrictions because one's DNA makeup is determined at conception. Testing is possible even before birth (pre-natal DNA test) and newborns may be tested safely at delivery using umbilical cord blood. Samples may be taken from persons of any age, even post mortem. Our lab's combined technologies are so powerful that the genetic patterns of a deceased father may be reconstructed from grandparents, siblings or other family members.

ACCURACY OF DNA TEST
A DNA test is the most conclusive, widely accepted method for testing biological relationships. Our lab uses the PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) method which is the most advanced technology; therefore, we provide accurate, definitive results. We routinely provide results with a probability of grater than 99.999% inclusion and 100% exclusion.

NECESSITY OF A DNA PARENTAGE TEST
A man who wonders whether he really fathered a child; someone who wants closure or peace of mind about their paternity; a woman seeking child support from a man who denies he fathered her child; parents going through a divorce; people seeking to establish Social Security benefits, inheritance rights or Native American Tribal rights; people seeking to migrate to the U.S. on the ground that he/she is a blood relative of a sponsoring citizen; someone wanting to ideNtify biological grandparents or siblings; and people who received inconclusive results from other methods or simply want a "second opinion" are some of the many reasons to request DNA Parentage Tests.
